Contact form. The name, email address and message you type, plus your IP address and a timestamp, which are included so we can tell genuine enquiries from automated spam. This is sent to our mailbox by email. We use it to answer you and, if we end up working together, to carry on that correspondence. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and preventing abuse.

Trial download form. To get a trial download link you provide your email address and, optionally, your name and studio, together with your IP address and a timestamp for spam prevention. We store this and use it to send the link and to follow up about the trial. Server logs. Our hosting provider records requests to the site, including IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time. This happens for every website and is needed to run and secure the server. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the site securely.

Analytics. If, and only if, you press “Allow” on the banner, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. IP addresses are anonymised. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics scripts are loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time below.

The site sets no cookies of its own. Your choice on the banner is remembered in your browser’s local storage under the key ew-consent; it stays on your device and is never sent to us.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*), typically lasting up to two years.

Change my analytics choice

Opening a page on this site loads nothing from anyone else: fonts, images and scripts are all served from our own server. Requests leave it only if you allow analytics or click something that goes elsewhere. Where a service is based outside the EEA, transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

• Name.com – web and email hosting; stores the site, its logs and enquiries sent through the form.
• Google – Analytics, loaded only if you allow it, and Workspace, which hosts the mailbox your enquiry arrives in. The typefaces used on this site are hosted by us, not by Google Fonts, so no request goes to Google simply because you opened a page.
• YouTube – the demo video. Its player loads only after you click play; until then nothing is requested from YouTube and no YouTube cookies are set. The preview image you see beforehand is served from our own server.
• Calendly, GitHub, GitBook, LinkedIn – linked from the site. Following a link takes you to their services, where their own privacy policies apply.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and ask for your data in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what was done beforehand.
